  • Hold a great classroom beach clean-up. Take a trip to your local waterfront and collect debris, garbage and other objects harmful to the environment. Sort your objects back in the classroom. Where did each object originate from? How might each object be damaging to a marine environment? What action could the class take to prevent these objects from turning up on the beach? What are some alternative disposal techniques?
